[One good thing about being taken here is that Jeb hasn't run out of inspiration for art. Currently, he's found a nice place to sit and draw the surroundings around him.

Feel free to approach him, but don't be surprised if he doesn't hear you at first or jumps when he does. This is something that steals his focus very quickly.]

A little over a month. How about you, Pommy?

[bemyused]

[Give Pommy a moment to think about it. He's not too good with keeping track of time.]

Umm...maybe a month, too? A lot of other people were arriving in Luceti around the same time as Pommy.

So you're kinda new, like me!

[A lot of people seem to have been here for a while... it's hard for Jeb to imagine that.]

[bemyused]

It seems like it! How long do you think we'll be stuck here for?

Well, I'm not really sure... hopefully not too long, though!

[bemyused]

[Pommy nods vigorously]

The Malnosso took Pommy while Bomberman was out of the house catching bad guys, so Bomberman doesn't know Pommy's gone! [He pauses.] Though someone said that when you go home, you go home to the same time that the Malnosso took you, so it's like you never left. So Pommy supposes Bomberman wouldn't notice anything. We could stay here for years and no one would notice! [He sounds more intrigued by the concept as opposed to horrified.]

Even if they wouldn't notice, I'd be really upset to be away from the people I love for that long. [Laughs weakly before asking:] Who's Bomberman?

Oh, Bomberman is Pommy's friend! We met a few months ago, and then Pommy came to live with him in Diamond City.

That's cool! It was nice of him to let you live with him.

[bemyused]

It's good, because then Pommy can keep an eye on Bomberman and make sure he doesn't get into trouble! [Though really, "getting into trouble" is kind of part of Bomberman's job description.] Did Jeb live with anyone back home?

[Nods.]

Yeah! I lived with my family. ...I miss them.

[bemyused]

Who was in Jeb's family?

[sketchingideals]

I live with my Mom, my twin brother and sister, and my younger sister. Dad's not around a lot, but it's okay. What he's doing is saving lives, so I don't mind!

[bemyused]

Oh, is Jeb's dad a hero or something?

[sketchingideals]

Well, kind of. He's a doctor!

[bemyused]

Oh, okay! So he's not a hero like Bomberman, but that's okay because he still saves people!

Yeah! [Big, prideful smile. Jeb is definitely not resentful that his father isn't around all the time, not when he's doing so much good!]

[Pommy opens his mouth to say something...only to be interrupted from a growl from his stomach.

Hungry creampuff is hungry.]

You hungry? [Come to think of it, Jeb could go for a bite to eat himself.]

Y-yeah, a little bit. It's been a while since Pommy ate. [Translation: An hour and a half, probably.]

Well, how about we get you something to eat?
