[(Accidental) Audio]

[After talking to people in his last post, Jeb's feeling a little better about things with the person who had attacked him. This morning, he feels a little... contemplative. Ironically enough, it's about something he was told by the same person who assaulted him--not that Jeb's aware of it.

Nor is he aware that he turned the audio function of his journal on.]

"Beauty is all but non-existent in such a ruthless and vile world." [That's what the anonymous person on the journal had said. He repeats it quietly, over and over, like a mantra. He eventually sighs, frustrated.]

There's no way I can accept that, not when I've been shown the opposite so many times! But...

[He's quiet for a few moments before sighing again.]

I wish that person didn't have something happen to make them think like that, but that doesn't make what they said true at all. I'm going to keep doing my best... but it would probably be easier if everyone was here. ...I miss you, Tori.

[...and he finally notices that his journal is open and... recording.] Ah, how long has that been-?! [Embarrassed, he slams it shut.]

[Action]

[Later on in the day, after recovering from his embarrassment, Jeb will be all around the town to keep himself occupied--feel free to run into him.]

Oh, I'm very happy to hear that. And you should never give up, even when people tell you things that aren't very nice.

[Like the person Jeb was quoting. That wasn't very nice at all.]

There are moments when it's hard not to give up... for me, and for anyone really. But I won't give up. There's a lot of great things out there, and I'd miss out on them if I gave up!

[...Except the last time Grune tried to cheer up Mithos, he went after her with a sword. Erm.]

I... don't know who it was. When I talked to them, the camera was covered up. But if I could, I would definitely try to cheer them up!

[Mithos beat the crap out of Jeb and he was then specifically told to stay away from the blond. Would he still try to help him? ...probably, knowing Jeb.]

We should try to find them. I think they must be a little lonely, too.

[The same thing would have happened to Grune if ~~her boyfriend weren't a stalker~~ Dhaos hadn't happen to spot them. Mithos needs to stop being so touchy, especially since Grune also would still try to help him. Geez.]

All right, I think that's a good idea!

[These two are both too nice for their own good. At least Grune has stalker boyfriend man, right? ...Jeb suddenly realizes something.]

Ah, I don't think I ever got your name...
