Out of curiosity, what kind of chocolate does everyone like? Personally, there's a lot of kinds I enjoy! And you can use chocolate as a topping for a lot of things, too... how many of you have had chocolate-covered strawberries? Those are wonderful!

Would you like some company today, Mithos? I'm not doing anything and I really want to see you. I can bring some art supplies over, and maybe make something little for us to eat! So, are you okay with it?

[This sort of topic is just right for Cheria- She gets to swoon over chocolate and give a bit of a lecture at the same time.]

Chocolate goes well with all sorts of things, and I've heard it's a very common candy to give to others Valentine's Day. I think mixing it with fruit is a very good idea. It's both tastier and healthier than things like, say, truffles.

Cheria! It's been a while, hasn't it? It's good to hear from you!

Strawberries aren't the only fruit chocolate goes well with, either. Bananas and cherries taste good with chocolate, too, and I'm sure there are others!

I like truffles too, but I also like variety. And you're right, mixing it with fruit is healthier!

Yes, that's right. I'm sure pineapple, apple and grape would taste very good dipped in chocolate as well. As long as you don't eat too much of it, it's an excellent combination.

I think strawberries taste really good, but if you don't like them, that's okay.

I've never tried chocolate with any of those! Maybe I should...

[When he first sees the message, a deep annoyance fills him and he wants to shred the paper to little scraps because what. As soon as he presses his pen to the page to shoot back a reply.....the aggravation vanishes. Suddenly, he forgets what could have even caused such a response in the first place. The pieces lock into place, and everything flows naturally...]

Yes, that sounds good. [...if not a bit...awkwardly. This is all still new to him, okay.] I'm not doing anything either, so you can come over as soon as you like.

[There's a bit of a pause before Cheria responds.] I've been... very well, thank you. I have to say, I'm not quite used to this cold weather.

Give me a few minutes and I'll be on my way over! I lov [...it's still too soon for that, isn't it? Mithos is still awkward about their relationship in general. Jeb writes something else instead.] I can't wait to see you!

Oh, really? Does it not get really cold where you're from?

Oh, no. Not this much, in any case. I'd never seen this much snow until I visited the country of Fendel.

[............it isn't difficult to figure out how that sentence was going to end, and he can feel his face growing warm. Actually, he almost drops his pen.]

[He gathers up what he needs before heading toward house 52 as promised. He knocks on the door when he arrives, extremely short of breath. He had done some running for most of the trip, and while house 52 isn't as far as it could be from community building 6, Jeb also isn't the most physically fit of people. Still, he wants to see Mithos as soon as possible--that fact makes everything worth it.]

Where I'm from, the seasons sort of work like they do here... so it gets cold like this during part of the year.

What's Fendel like?

[He would be waiting right by the door if not for his leg. It's more comfortable on the couch, where he has sat in anticipation from the moment he closed the journal. When he hears knocking, he pulls himself up and goes to the door as quickly as his crutches will allow.]

It's unlocked! [because honestly, it will be quicker and easier if Jeb just opens it himself.]
