But there are always others who wouldn't mind helping to restore that faith after it's broken. [Smiles more.] I don't think I could change Mithos' entire outlook, and it wouldn't be right for me to try to or act like he should. When I said something similar to him that week, I really meant it.

But if he had even just a couple more people who would be there for him, who wouldn't judge him for that outlook... I think he'd be happier.

I'll be all right. [A half-truth at best--Jeb just knows that if someone as pathetic as him has survived this long, that he'll probably be fine in the long run. Besides, he has people he cares about, and as long as he can help them... well, as far as he's concerned? He will be all right.]

Maybe you don't care, but you've really been trying your hardest to throw me out of a rut despite that, especially since you're usually out training your Pokemon around this time of day. [Honestly, Silver. He's naive, not oblivious.]
