11th sketch - [action, forward dated to Saturday afternoon]

[Jeb's become found of his housemate's Pokemon, and while he cares about all three of them dearly, there's one who he's really grown a bond with.

Anyone who encounters Jeb this afternoon will find him accompanied with game!Silver's Sneasel and probably notice that he looks very overjoyed to be in the Pokemon's presence. Jeb makes sure to keep Sneasel in his sight at all times, though sometimes that's a bit tricky.

Jeb certainly won't mind if someone comes up to them, though he might get uncomfortable if questions start getting asked...]

((OOC: I have game!Silver's mun's permission for this, don't worry. Also: Sara, if you post with game!Silver, is it all right if his thread with Jeb is the last chronologically?))

[He turns around, looking to the source of the voice.]

Silver! Have you been following us around? [Not accusatory. Jeb really doesn't find it that strange, even.]

No...not really! [he sort of has. Maybe. There's more than a small chance at least] I just happened to be in the area!

[Jeb doesn't really believe that, but he smiles anyway.]

Oh, okay! Don't worry, I've been taking really good care of Sneasel. [See, Silver? Look how happy Sneasel is.]

[He can see it, all right. And he's a tiny bit jealous, not that he'll admit it.] He never behaves himself like that around me. [even after he stopped being a jerk to his Pokemon, Sneasel's never let him forget it]

I bet it'll just take a little time, that's all. [He looks over to Sneasel, expecting.] You'll behave around Silver in no time, right?

[Sneasel only gives a shrug of "perhaps~" to that]

See?

I think he's just playing around, Silver. [Laughs, just a little.]

He better be. Even Golbat's cleaned up his act lately and he hated my guts.

It's because you're finally showing them who you can really be. [The Silver that Jeb believes in. He smiles.]

...yeah, well. [shrugs] It's not cause I'm going soft or anything! But these guys are all I've got of my own world so we've gotta learn to get along, right?

Right! [Smiles more. He totally believes you, Silver. Yep.]

So...yeah. [rubs the back of his head]

Well, I'm glad you're doing it! I guess it's a little silly, but it's like we're a family that way. [Smile~]

...a family.

Yeah.

[such an unfamiliar concept to Silver. No, more like totally foreign.]

...I'm sorry. I said something wrong, didn't I?

[Yes.]

No, it's just...um, nevermind. It's not important.

Are you sure? [It's like Jeb just can't believe anything today, isn't it.]

Yeah, it's just stupid. Nothing worth bringing up.

...all right. [He'll let it drop, then.]

[Don't mind Emil just sort of stopping and staring on his way by, because that's a pretty interesting looking monster you've got there, Jeb. It looks vaguely like something that he might be able to find in his world.]

Oh, Emil! It's been a while. How are you? [Smiles at him, then thinks about his question.] Well... [Looks to Sneasel, then back to Emil.] Silver says Sneasel's a Pokemon. I don't know if they're really the same thing.

I'm fine! I've just been busy working at the Welcome Center and the tea shop, so I haven't been out and around as much as usual.

[He tilts his head, looking at Sneasel.]

A Pokemon? You mean like those creatures Gold has? I guess he does look kind of like them...

Well, it's good to stay busy, right?

Probably! I know there are other "Pokemon trainers" in Luceti. [...] I don't mean to be rude by asking, but who's Gold?

[Because there wasn't exactly a name exchange the only time they've spoken to each other.]

He's someone else who lives here-- I think he's a Pokemon trainer too, because I've seen him with Pokemon before. That's why I was asking.

Oh! I see.

So what are you doing out here, Emil? ...I'm sorry, that probably sounded rude. I didn't mean it to be!

[Emil just smiles.]

It's okay, I didn't think it was rude at all. I was just out for a walk to get a little exercise. It gets boring staying in the house so much when it's hot outside.

[Smiles back.]

I agree! There's nothing wrong with getting some fresh air, right?

Right. I'm just sorry I didn't bring Sial with me this time-- I bet he would love to play with Sneasel there.

Oh, probably! [...] Who is Sial? Is he a friend of yours?

Kind of. He's my chimera-- it's a monster that's a little bit like a cat with wings. The Malnosso gave him to me as a Christmas present a couple of years ago.

Oh, wow! He sounds really cool. [...] That was nice of the Malnosso, too.

Yeah, it was. I wonder if they'll do something like that again one of these years. Well, I guess they kind of did with that statue that gave out gifts, but those weren't things that came from our worlds, and some of them were kind of, um, weird.

Weird? [Laughs a little.] Hm... still, I think it would be nice if they did something like that again.

[He's not hoping that if they do, they'll give him a photo of the people he so dearly misses. Not at all.]

Yeah, weird. I got a big fluffy blanket from it. Um, not that it wasn't useful, but it was still kind of strange for a present.
