[Morning comes.

Jeb gets himself out of bed, plans out in his head what he's going to make for him and Silver for breakfast, gets dressed... and as he's fiddling with the clasp of his bracelet, it dawns on him.

He's been wearing this thing consistently for almost a year. It'll have been a year in a couple of weeks, and he's still wearing a bracelet given to him by someone he was never in love with in the first place. All for the sake of reminding himself of a promise he made.

He still believes in that promise.

Maybe he's foolish for that, too. Or maybe he didn't want to leave Mithos alone because that's his own fear. Being abandoned and left behind for people more impressive, people more good than him.

It scares him. He'd never do it to anyone else--even if they wanted him to.

He has the chance to start over now, doesn't he? ...but if he takes it, does it make him manipulative? Maybe he should get advice on that. After making himself a little more presentable, he makes a video post.]

Good morning, everyone! I hope you're all doing well today. I have a question for you all, and it's probably going to sound a little weird. But I hope it doesn't sound too weird, because maybe it's something a lot of people want deep down. Who knows?

Anyway, if you got the chance to start over with someone you know or knew, would you? Or does that seem wrong to you?

Your sister... what is she like?

[He only met Martel once, and he can barely remember what she was like. But for her to be so important to Mithos, she must be amazing...]

Oh... [That's not what he expected, but a soft smile dawns on him as he settles into the topic of his sister.] Martel is really kind, and patient, and loving. She's always been there to support me for as long as I can remember...and since before I can remember, too.

She sounds amazing. [Yes... in Jeb's vague memories of her, she had been kind. It matches up.] That's the kind of sibling I want to be for my little sister Faye.

She really is amazing... You have a sister too?

I have four siblings, actually! A twin brother and sister, an older half brother... and my little sister.

[He hopes Jebbi and Terare weren't hurt too... with all the chaos that occurred right before coming back to Luceti, he only caught a glimpse of Tori and Michiru bleeding. He hopes his brother and sister were able to be protected too, like he was.]

It must be nice to have such a big family.

It is. I'm not as close to my older brother as I'd like to be, though.

[There's just too much unresolved between Devlin and himself.]

Oh... [He isn't sure if he should pry, although he's curious. He can't imagine having a sibling but knowing that there's a rift between them.] I hope that you can find a way to be closer, someday.

I hope so. Devlin isn't a bad person... he's just had a lot of things of his own to deal with in his life.

Maybe if you help him through those things, and you let him help you...you could grow closer. That's why my sister and I are so close - we've always helped each other.

That's a good idea. I've wanted us to be able to help each other for a while, and I hope it happens someday. [But with everything that was happening back home, with what happened moments before he came back here... he's not sure he could drag Devlin into all that.]
