[One good thing about being taken here is that Jeb hasn't run out of inspiration for art. Currently, he's found a nice place to sit and draw the surroundings around him.

Feel free to approach him, but don't be surprised if he doesn't hear you at first or jumps when he does. This is something that steals his focus very quickly.]

[Pommy watches Jeb for a few more moments before speaking.]

Myu, that's a really nice picture you're drawing!

[JUMPS!] Ah--!

[Once he's calmed down, Jeb looks to the owner of the voice, smiling a little.] Aren't you a cute little guy? [Quickly remembers what Pommy said that had caused the initial reaction and smiles a little more.] Thanks!

Do you draw a lot?

[Leave it to Pommy to ask the questions with obvious answers.]

[That doesn't seem to bother Jeb at all. He nods.]

Yep! It's kind of a passion of mine--I really enjoy it!

It looks like fun! [Pommy watches Jeb draw for a little bit longer.] Can Pommy try it for a little bit?

Sure!

[Getting it to a clean page, he offers the pad and pencil up to Pommy.]

[bemyused]

[Pommy takes the pad and pencil, and after a moment of thought begins scribbling.

Within a minute, it becomes clear that he's drawing the exact same thing Jeb was working on. There are a couple of wobbly spots here and there, but otherwise it's a very good copy of Jeb's work.]

[The boy's eyes are wide in awe--he's definitely impressed.]

Wow! How did you do that?

Pommy just watched what you did and did it!

What's your name, anyway? Pommy's name is Pommy.

Just like that? Wow, that's pretty cool!

It's nice to meet you, Pommy. My name's Jeb!

Nice to meet you too, Jeb! [He hands the pad and pencil back to him.] What kind of world do you come from?

Well... it's kind of like this one, except not so closed in!

Really? So Jeb lives in a village like Luceti?

[sketchingideals]

Sort of. The place I live is a bit bigger than this village! It's a really nice town, actually... but this place is nice in its own way, too!

[bemyused]

[Pommy nods.]

Pommy likes Luceti! But it's definitely not as big as Diamond City -- that place is huge!

Diamond City? Is that where you live, Pommy?

[bemyused]

Yep! Pommy wasn't living there for too long before Pommy came to Luceti, but Pommy liked it a lot!

What's it like?

[Give Pommy a moment to think.]

Myu, well...the buildings were a lot taller, and shinier. [Skyscrapers and odd futuro-modern glass-and-metal architecture FTW!] There were a lot more people, too, and Pommy didn't see any forests nearby.

[Be thankful that this critter will never become a travel writer.]

Umm...maybe a month, too? A lot of other people were arriving in Luceti around the same time as Pommy.

So you're kinda new, like me!

[A lot of people seem to have been here for a while... it's hard for Jeb to imagine that.]
