[He makes a small sound of contentment, still rubbing Mithos' back.] I'm so happy you do.

[His heart leaps in his chest, always feeling less small and cracked when Jeb is around. He glances at the floor.] ...Can I kiss you again?

[...that surprises him a little. Not the fact that Mithos wants them to kiss, but the wording, asking if he can kiss Jeb instead of the other way around. But he smiles, nodding once.]

Of course you can.

[Jeb, if you dare to say anything about how you're too plain, Mithos will do his best to prove you wrong. He sits up straight and crosses Jeb's body with one arm to firmly plant a hand on the bed beside his boyfriend. Slowly closing his eyes, he leans in to press his lips gently against Jeb's.]

Mmm... [He might, later, if those insecurities about himself arise. For now, he'll enjoy the feeling of Mithos' lips against his, softly kissing him back.]

[He tries to scoot closer as he continues kissing, enjoying every second of this. Who knew that this could make him feel so good...]

[The kissing makes Jeb feel good too, also trying to move closer as he tries to put every bit of his love for the other boy into his kissing. But that's not possible, he could never put in all of it...]

[...You know, this might work better if they weren't sitting side by side. With Mithos's leg the way it is, it's difficult to position himself comfortably. But right now, he's just happy with where they are and what they're doing.]

[He's happy with it too, and he'll continue to be unless Mithos says he isn't.]

[And he does the same, trying to ignore the flushing of his cheeks.] I just want you to be comfortable.

[He smiles, fully knowing how much the other boy cares about him... Then he'll...lay down on his side, mindful of his wings, and look up at Jeb. He reaches up for him with one arm.]

[With a wide smile, he reaches for Mithos in return.]

[clasps Jeb's hand, lacing their fingers together] ...Aren't you going to join me? [Ignore how totally bright red he is...]

[Only if Mithos will ignore how bright red Jeb is in return.] I-I... of course I am. [And he lays down next to Mithos, also on his side.]

[With their hands still intertwined between them, he leans closer to plant a soft kiss on Jeb's cheek.]

[His heart is pounding so hard that he wonders if it's audible.] Mithos...

[His is drumming up a racket too.] ...This is better.

I'm glad... [He squeezes Mithos' hand a little.] I'm really glad.

[He wriggles a little closer and closes his eyes, to kiss Jeb on the lips again. A warm fluttering shiver zips up his spine.]
