Good afternoon, everyone! I can't believe I almost forgot this, but today's my birthday. It'll be the first birthday in Luceti that I've celebrated at my actual age! The last time it passed, the Malnosso had made me ten...

Anyway, I know a lot of things have been hard here. There have been some rough times for me, but there have been some really good ones, too. I feel like I've grown quite a bit since arriving here! I'm even a little taller. [Two inches is something to brag about when you were 5'1" upon your arrival, okay?] But where I feel I've grown the most is as a person, and I do think I have Luceti to thank for that. A-At least to an extent!

Especially to the people I've befriended, even the ones who've gone home. Thank you, everyone. [He's eighteen now--an adult. For all his personal growth, it feels strange. He still feels far from being an adult. But it's okay. He'll get there, he knows it. He's already come so far...]

[A little later, Jeb will be doing his usual thing around town. Going to the bakery to get sweets, stocking up on food for him and Silver, stopping by the flower shop, checking the general item store for anything neat...

Feel free to catch him anywhere around town--he's definitely going to keep busy for a couple hours. Just because it's his birthday doesn't mean he should hole himself up.]

Yes, I agree. I wouldn't mind a loud party, but small celebrations are just as precious to me.

I think my favorite sort of time, is spending it with a few close friends. [As much as she longs to be liked, she's not one for big crowds of it. Just having friends there is enough.]

When I can. [This is not as often as she'd like. She's spent birthdays here entirely alone. Then again, she's spent birthdays with several others, too.] I think for a birthday, you should be able to do whichever you like best.

It's not for awhile yet. It's in the autumn. Maybe that's why I've always liked it.
